salary: $50 - $50 per hour
work hours: 9 AM - 5 PM
- Handles a caseload of workers' compensation matters.
- Works with claims professionals to resolve cases in the most cost-effective manner.
- Develops theories and defenses to incoming litigated claims.
- Engages in routine case handling, including discovery, research, and motion drafting.
- Handles hearings, conferences, depositions and trials.
- Travels to Workers’ Compensation Boards throughout Southern C.A.
- Ability to travel to insured’s locations.
- Travels to Glendale, C.A. law office and claims offices on occasion.
- Assists with other assignments, projects, roundtables, trainings, and tasks as needed.
