Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and account reconciliations.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
- Manage Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) processes.
- Track and analyze job costing for steel fabrication projects.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Support budget preparation and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Coordinate with external auditors for year-end audits and tax preparation.
- Assist project managers with budget monitoring and cost control.
- Monitor inventory and fixed assets related to steel and raw materials.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
