We're looking for someone with a keen attention to detail who can expertly manage our daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. You'll play a key role in supporting our accounting department, with responsibilities spanning accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management. 100% IN OFFICE in JAX BEACH

Responsibilities
What You'll Be Doing:
- Managing Accounts Payable: Efficiently process vendor invoices, ensure timely payments, and meticulously reconcile vendor statements to resolve any discrepancies. You'll also prepare checks and electronic payments.
- Handling Accounts Receivable: Generate and distribute customer invoices promptly. Accurately record customer payments and apply them to the correct accounts. You'll also follow up on past-due accounts and assist with collection efforts as needed.
- Assisting with Job Costing: Help us track project expenses, including labor, materials, and overhead. You'll collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate cost allocations and support financial analysis related to project profitability. Prior experience with job costing is a bonus!
- Maintaining the General Ledger: Record daily financial transactions and keep our general ledger accounts organized and up-to-date. You'll also assist with month-end and year-end closing processes and reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and financial statements.
- Providing Administrative Support: Lend a hand with special projects and offer essential support to the Controller when required. Maintaining the confidentiality of all financial information is paramount.
