Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Manage property-related financials, including full lease accounting and ensuring compliance with ASC 842.
- Oversee and maintain lease schedules, performing regular reconciliation to guarantee accuracy.
- Direct the full accounting cycle, from managing journal entries and the general ledger to preparing financial reports.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close, ensuring all processes are completed accurately and on time.
- Conduct detailed variance analyses and reconciliations to maintain the integrity of financial data.
- Monitor and analyze operating expenses, proactively identifying and implementing cost-saving measures.
- Ensure adherence to all GAAP standards, internal company policies, and external financial regulations.
- Support both internal and external audits by implementing robust controls and providing necessary documentation.
- Develop and maintain advanced financial models and reports using tools like Excel (PivotTables, Power Query, VBA) to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate on special projects aimed at continuously improving accounts payable and financial processes.
