Responsibilities
- Manage the full procurement lifecycle, including vendor sourcing, contract negotiations, and purchase order execution.
- Negotiate with suppliers to achieve favorable pricing and long-term agreements, reducing procurement costs.
- Oversee vendor management, evaluating supplier performance and maintaining compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of orders, shipments, pricing, and vendor performance.
- Utilize ERP systems for purchasing, inventory, and reporting functions, improving accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, operations, finance, sales, logistics, quality) to forecast demand, control inventory levels, and avoid supply chain disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and corporate governance.
- Track deliveries closely and expedite purchase orders to meet timelines.
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, researching and qualifying new suppliers.
- Analyze purchase price variance (PPV) and reduce costs through value engineering and alternate sourcing.
