We are seeking a highly meticulous and customer-focused Customer Service & Order Entry Specialist to join our client, a rapidly growing manufacturing company in New Jersey. This is a vital role responsible for the accurate and timely processing of high-volume customer orders, serving as the critical link between the customer, sales, and the production floor.

salary: $41,600 - $47,840 per year

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Order Management: Accurately and efficiently process a high volume of purchase orders (POs) received via phone, email, EDI, and web platforms into the ERP/CRM system.
  
  
• Data Integrity: Maintain absolute accuracy in all data entry, ensuring product codes, quantities, pricing, and shipping instructions are correct to prevent errors in production and billing.
  
  
• Customer Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries regarding order status, product availability, scheduling, and delivery timelines.
  
  
• Logistics Coordination: Collaborate directly with the Warehouse/Shipping and Production teams to coordinate order fulfillment, confirm product availability, and manage inventory expectations.
  
  
• Documentation & Reporting: Process and track necessary paperwork (invoices, packing lists, tracking numbers) and assist in generating basic reports on order volume and status.
  
  
• Problem Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve discrepancies in orders, pricing, or shipping issues to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
