Responsibilities
- Lead compliance development and oversight for national accreditation and governmental regulations (e.g., behavioral health, correctional services).
- Interpret complex laws and mandates, translating them into clear internal policies, procedures, and guidance.
- Define quality benchmarks with QA teams and monitor agency performance against these metrics.
- Spearhead change management and implement performance improvement plans to address compliance gaps.
- Provide expert consultation and technical support to staff for upholding regulatory standards.
- Design systems for collecting compliance data and conduct statistical analysis.
- Prepare comprehensive, routine reports (including a mandatory monthly executive report) summarizing compliance status.
- Meticulously maintain all records to support successful external accreditation and compliance audits.
- Conduct timely, objective investigations into compliance concerns, coordinating resolution with the executive team.
- Design and deliver targeted training materials to employees on continuous adherence to standards.
- Cultivate and sustain effective relationships with administrators, public officials, and external stakeholders.
- Represent the organization at meetings, training, and professional development sessions.
