Responsibilities
- Order Management: Process purchase orders (POs) for raw materials, electronic components (resistors, capacitors, ICs, etc.), and indirect goods, ensuring timely delivery to meet production deadlines.
- Supplier Relationship Support: Assist in maintaining and managing relationships with a global base of component suppliers and vendors, focusing on clear communication and performance tracking.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with Production Planning and Warehouse teams to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent material shortages or excess inventory.
- Data & System Entry: Accurately enter and maintain purchasing data, pricing, and supplier information within our ERP/MRP system - SAP, Oracle, NetSuite.
- Problem Resolution: Track open orders and proactively follow up on late deliveries, resolve invoicing issues, and address material non-conformances alongside Quality Control.
