Randstad is seeking a Tax Accountant to join the team of a mid-sized CPA firm established ove 40 years ago. This role involves handling complex tax preparation, client communication, and contributing to firm improvement initiatives. This is a direct hire opportunity offering a full benefits package including bonus structure and support for those pursuing the CPA.  Must haves:

• 2+ years of tax preparation experience
• CCH Axcess software experience

salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 9 AM - 5 PM
education: Bachelors



Responsibilities

• Tax Preparation & Review: Prepare and detail review federal, state, and local income tax returns.
• Payroll Tax: Prepare federal and state payroll tax returns.
• Complex Tax & Research: Prepare or assist in the preparation of complex tax returns and conduct tax research.
• Client Communication: Review tax information provided by clients, including meeting with and contacting clients with questions.
• Issue Resolution: Recognize, anticipate, and resolve tax issues, providing recommendations and actively communicating with supervisors and the client.

• Tax Planning (3 years of experience is required)
• Payroll Tax (1 year of experience is required)
• CCH Access (1 year of experience is required)
• Federal Tax
• State & Local Tax
