salary: $115,000 - $130,000 per year

Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting
Manage and supervise the daily operations of the accounting department
Lead the month-end close process, including preparation of journal entries, financial statement
preparation, financial analysis, and supplemental financial reporting
Conduct ongoing financial reporting and forecasting to support strategic planning
Review financial results and business metrics for the company and various departments
Prepare budget documentation and present variance analyses comparing actual results to
budget for management review
Perform ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as assigned
Compliance & Controls
Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, best practices, policies, and principles in
accordance with GAAP
Prepare and file sales/use tax returns and property tax documentation
Execute bank reconciliations and prepare bank reporting
Support year-end financial audit activities, bank collateral audits, and ad hoc audits as required
Systems & Process Improvement
Maintain proficiency with financial computer systems necessary to support business operations
