Key Responsibilities:  You won't just file claims; you'll be a compliance and recovery champion, with the autonomy to drive impactful change and optimize processes.

• Architect and file complex U.S. Customs drawback claims, meticulously ensuring compliance while identifying opportunities for maximum recovery.
• Analyze import/export data and leverage HTS codes to pinpoint recovery potential and ensure data integrity.
• Lead the organization of critical transaction records to maintain documentation integrity for audit readiness.
• Streamline process improvements to enhance filing efficiency and recovery potential.
• Utilize CargoWise and ACE data to pull critical reports and streamline filing efficiency.
• Partner with brokers and trade partners to resolve claim discrepancies and ensure smooth operational workflows
• Provide strategic reporting and updates to management on recovery performance and compliance risk.

 Essential Qualifications & Skills: We’re looking for proven expertise and a proactive approach, not just time served.

• Proven proficiency with 2+ years of experience in Customs Compliance, Trade Compliance, or dedicated Drawback programs.
• Specialized Expertise: Hands-on experience with HTS codes, US Customs ACE data, and CargoWise systems.
• Industry Insight: Experience in supply chain, import brokerage, or export forwarding is a significant advantage. 
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Vlookups) and data analysis for financial reconciliation.
• Regulatory Savvy: Demonstrated understanding of U.S. Customs regulations (19 CFR) and duty drawback procedures.
