Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end process of drafting and tracking HIPAA-compliant medical authorizations for all clients.
- Utilize litigation defense experience to assist attorneys in preparing for depositions, hearings, and trials.
- Maintain highly organized physical and electronic case files to ensure all documentation is easily accessible.
- Execute complex administrative tasks including the coordination of expert witnesses and court filings.
- Demonstrate multitasking abilities by managing multiple case deadlines and priorities simultaneously.
- Follow up rigorously with healthcare providers and facilities to ensure the timely procurement of medical records.
- Draft detailed medical chronologies and record summaries to support the discovery phase of litigation.
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and medical staff to keep case progress on track.
