We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant for a focused, 3-month temporary assignment with our client in the non-profit sector. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in high-volume donor accounting and possesses a sharp eye for gift documentation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the integrity of financial records related to philanthropic giving, ensuring every contribution is recorded accurately and reconciled swiftly.

Donor/Gift/Contribution experience is a MUST

salary: $25 - $29 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

• Contribution Management: Oversee the full cycle of gift processing, ensuring all incoming funds are classified correctly according to donor intent.
  
  
• Gift Accounting: Maintain precise ledger entries for various gift types, including cash, pledges, and in-kind donations.
  
  
• Donor Reconciliation: Work closely with the Development/Fundraising department to reconcile CRM data with the general ledger.
  
  
• Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly contribution reports and supporting schedules for the upcoming quarterly review.
