- Case Management: Initiate the opening of legal files and maintain meticulously organized digital and physical client records.
- Documentation: Complete, scan, and organize legal forms, authorizations, and incoming/outgoing mail within the ATO case management system.
- Evidence Procurement: Facilitate the collection of vital evidence, including medical records, police reports, and multimedia files (tapes/videos).
- Insurance Coordination: Report claims to insurance carriers, request policies, and follow up on coverage information.
- Drafting & Correspondence: Prepare professional letters and provide administrative support to the legal team.
- Financial Admin: Gather and manage medical bills, process invoices, and post them to the appropriate files.
- Client Relations: Contact clients for status updates, attend occasional meetings, and provide translation support (if bilingual).
- Demand Preparation: Assist paralegals by gathering records and preparing comprehensive demand packages.
- Organization: Exceptional ability to manage multiple tasks with a focus on accuracy and completeness.
- Communication: strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact professionally with clients, medical providers, and insurance adjusters.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with computer systems, scanning hardware, and case management software.
