This is a multifaceted role where you will manage everything from General Ledger integrity and insurance portfolios to asset management and audit coordination.

salary: $68,000 - $72,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Audit invoices and payment requests for correct coding and authorize final bank disbursements.
  
  
• Oversee the statewide Concur system, managing monthly approvals and data syncs.
  
  
• Handle the preparation of annual 1099s and maintain all property tax records.
  
  
• Keep comprehensive, organized files to ensure a smooth and seamless annual audit.
  
  

General Ledger & Reporting

• Manage the General Ledger, including preparing journal entries and leading month-end and year-end closing processes.
  
  
• Create and distribute monthly financial statements and specialized reports for leadership.
  
  
• Serve as the primary backup for Payroll and Accounts Payable to ensure uninterrupted office operations.
  
  
• Track capital requests and maintain detailed records for all fixed assets and property.
  
  
• Manage the organization’s insurance portfolio, including renewals, policy updates, and active claims.
  
  
• Coordinate the buying and selling of company vehicles and manage all related contracts and documentation.
