Responsibilities
- Audit invoices and payment requests for correct coding and authorize final bank disbursements.
- Oversee the statewide Concur system, managing monthly approvals and data syncs.
- Handle the preparation of annual 1099s and maintain all property tax records.
- Keep comprehensive, organized files to ensure a smooth and seamless annual audit.
- Manage the General Ledger, including preparing journal entries and leading month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Create and distribute monthly financial statements and specialized reports for leadership.
- Serve as the primary backup for Payroll and Accounts Payable to ensure uninterrupted office operations.
- Track capital requests and maintain detailed records for all fixed assets and property.
- Manage the organization’s insurance portfolio, including renewals, policy updates, and active claims.
- Coordinate the buying and selling of company vehicles and manage all related contracts and documentation.
