We are seeking a dynamic Accounting Manager to lead our client's financial operations and spearhead the final stages of their transition to Acumatica. In this role, you will be the primary driver for our client's daily financial integrity while mentoring a dedicated two-person team. You will bridge the gap between their Global HQ, external auditors, and internal operations during a pivotal digital transformation.

Responsibilities

• Team Management: Supervise and mentor a Staff Accountant (AP) and Senior AR Clerk, focusing on performance and accuracy.
  
  
• Month-End Close: Personally execute full-cycle monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes in compliance with GAAP.
  
  
• GL & Reconciliations: Maintain the General Ledger and perform all high-level reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
  
  
• Inventory & Assets: Oversee fixed asset depreciation and lead physical inventory counts to reconcile with ERP records.
  
  
• ERP Implementation (Sage 100 to Acumatica)
  
  
• Compliance & External Relations: Drive the remaining stages of the Acumatica implementation, including data migration and system troubleshooting.
  
  
• Audit & HQ Liaison: Primary point of contact for external auditors and Global HQ, ensuring all schedules and justifications are met.
  
  
• Tax Management: Manage data flow to external firms for accurate sales and income tax filings.

• Budgeting: Lead the annual budgeting process and provide monthly variance analysis to senior management.
  
  
• Economic Analysis: Recommend strategic modifications to company programs based on financial performance and tax code changes.
  
  
• Internal Controls: Maintain and enforce the internal control framework to safeguard company assets.
