Responsibilities
- Strategic Grant Oversight: Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of grant accounting, from tracking service delivery to preparing reimbursement requests according to grantor timelines.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Develop and present monthly management reports, including departmental budget-versus-actual analyses and grant reviews.
- General Ledger Integrity: Manage biweekly payroll entries and oversee the month-end closing process, including subledger reconciliations, fixed asset depreciation, and restricted asset tracking.
- Compliance & Audit Readiness: Maintain meticulous records for annual audits and ensure all grant activities align with 2 CFR 200 Uniform Guidance and relevant grant management standards.
- Operational Support: Collaborate with the CFO on year-end accruals and assist in the continuous improvement of internal "desk procedures" and documentation.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Accounting or a closely related field.
- Technical Skills: High proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel). Experience with Financial Edge NXT is a significant advantage.
