Responsibilities
· Manage sales/sales team in the US.
· Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; project expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
· Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
· Direct sales activity at existing and target accounts, coordinating design activity with engineering and sales activity with purchasing.
· Maintain and expand customer base and build rapport with key accounts.
· Identify new customer opportunities.
· Participate in periodic sales forecasts with Management.
· Provide inputs from the industry to identify new needs and trends for R&D and marketing purposes.
· Coordinate periodic technical seminars/presentations at key/ existing accounts.
· Quarterly reviews of targets with Management, making revisions when appropriate.
