Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

• Financial Integrity & Month-End Management: Lead key segments of the month-end closing cycle, guaranteeing that all financial reporting is both precise and delivered on schedule.
  
  
• General Ledger Mastery: Perform in-depth analysis of financial data and develop robust supporting documentation for all GL activity. You will be responsible for the accuracy and completeness of complex journal entries.
  
  
• Discrepancy Resolution: Act as a financial detective to identify, investigate, and proactively resolve accounting variances before they impact reporting.
  
  
• Treasury & Reconciliation: Oversee comprehensive payment reconciliations, including ACH, EFT, and traditional check transactions, to ensure seamless cash flow monitoring.
  
  
• Multi-Entity Coordination: Manage the recording and balancing of intercompany transactions, ensuring perfect alignment across all corporate entities.
  
  
• Tax & Compliance Support: Facilitate the smooth execution of sales, business use, and excise tax processes, while playing a key role in the annual financial audit and regulatory reporting.
  
  
• Strategic Partnership: Collaborate directly with the Controller to refine internal controls, modernize accounting workflows, and elevate the quality of departmental reporting.
