Core Responsibilities Financial Oversight & Forecasting
- Prepare investment forecasts, cash flow analyses, and detailed cost tracking.
- Conduct variance analysis and "Estimate vs. Actual" reviews to identify financial risks.
- Manage ongoing forecasting, including accruals and cash management awareness.
- Ensure all financial reporting meets SOX compliance and internal audit standards.
- Partner with Project Managers (PMs) on financial planning, documentation, and meeting coordination.
- Implement baseline budgets, resource plans, and project breakdown structures.
- Oversee budget inputs and monitor data accuracy across multiple simultaneous projects.
- Collaborate with procurement to manage the impact of purchasing on cost and schedule.
- Act as the financial point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive process optimization to improve reporting efficiency and project management best practices.
- Experience: Proven background in project cost control, financial analysis, or project management support. Experience within the utility, energy, or construction sectors is highly preferred.
- Analytical Skills: strong ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Technical Savvy: Familiarity with procurement processes and their impact on project timelines and budgets.
- Independence: Proven ability to manage workloads with minimal supervision and exercise independent judgment.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional technical teams and leadership.

Responsibilities
1. Coordinate project meetings and assist PMs with documentation and planning relating to project financials.
2. Prepare investment forecasts, cash flows, variance analysis, cost tracking, SOX support, and estimate vs actual reviews.
3. Implement resource/cost plans, baseline budgets, work plans, and project breakdown structures as it relates to project schedule activities.
4. Maintain project records, manage unvouchered liabilities, and oversee the full work order lifecycle from creation to closeout.
5. Support contracting methods, procurement activities, requisitions, bidding, cost reviews, and tracking.
6. Communicate budget and cost information with project stakeholders.
7. Work independently to solve moderately complex problems using technical and analytical skills.
