As a subject matter specialist, you will typically deal with complex issues as they relate to the Reconciliation & Analysis unit. You will have direct contact with clients and vendors and will be integral in departmental projects aimed at improving the service, productivity, and quality of all deliverables. This individual will exhibit leadership traits commensurate with supervision and will be relied on for training of all junior staff.
- Education: BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: 1 to 2 years of Global Fund Accounting experience.
- Expertise: Proven knowledge of one or more product area within Operations and its process.
- Technical Skills: Ability to perform technical responsibilities of the job with a high level of competence; aptitude for thorough and timely research, analysis and resolution of a problem.
- Soft Skills: Ability to communicate professionally using effective verbal/written skills; organizational skills.
- Work Style: Ability to multi-task and effectively juggle assignments; ability to work in a team environment; ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Drive: Proactive self-starter who is detail and goal oriented.

Responsibilities
- Ensure daily output standards for both quality and timeliness are met.
- Coordinate control/production related activities.
- Coordinate intraday and end of day prioritization and reconciliation of daily work/proof and control.
- Help to ensure all deadlines and requirements are being met.
- Manage daily production reporting.
- Monitor and assist in the resolution of break related issues.
- Follow up on open inquiries ensuring timely resolution by interacting with other departments.
- Provides and understands the daily, weekly and monthly reports that are distributed to the internal and external clients.
- Communicates with the various internal clients on any items which are out of standard via phone, email and face to face periodic meetings to ensure all aged items are being worked on through resolution.
- Meets periodically with internal constituents and management teams to ensure break documentation/back-up is provided as needed.
- Communicates professionally and constructively to effectively resolve any security exceptions in order to minimize risk and exposure.
- Responds to complex inquiries in a timely manner.
- Help to identify and document error trends in an effort to reduce exposures.
- Contributes to and maintains a high level of teamwork across all units within R&A.
- Understands fundamentals of Access Databases and makes suggestions for areas in which improvement is necessary.
