This isn't a "maintenance" role. While you will own the integrity of the general ledger, you will also play a pivotal role in a major ERP system integration. This is a unique opportunity to influence global workflows and leave a lasting mark on a sophisticated financial operation

Responsibilities

• Full-Cycle General Ledger Management: Execute the end-to-end month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process with precision.
• Complex Reconciliations: Perform intricate balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all accounts are substantiated and variances are investigated.
• Systems Integration Lead: Serve as a subject matter expert during our upcoming system migration; assist in data mapping, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and workflow optimization.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP, including flux analysis and departmental reporting.
• Fixed Assets & Accruals: Manage the fixed asset lifecycle and maintain complex accrual schedules (prepaids, taxes, and specialized raw material logistics costs).
• Audit & Compliance: Act as a primary point of contact for external auditors, providing necessary workpapers and ensuring robust internal controls.
