Requirements & Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of legal assistant experience in litigation (Real Estate, Commercial Landlord-Tenant, or Business Litigation preferred but not required).
- MUST have extensive working knowledge of the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and a thorough understanding of court deadlines and calendaring rules.
- Proficiency with legal tech software (ePortal, JAWS, NetDocuments, and Clio preferred).
- Exceptional organizational skills, sharp attention to detail, and top-tier written and verbal communication skills.
- Competitive hourly pay commensurate with experience ($26.00 – $32.00/hr)

Responsibilities
- Apply expert, comprehensive knowledge of the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and federal rules to accurately calculate, calendar, and track all case deadlines, court-mandated timelines, and standard order requirements.
- Schedule a high volume of hearings, court appearances, attorney appointments, and meetings across multiple practice areas.
- Prepare, review, and file legal documents accurately and timely with appropriate courts.
- Monitor court portals (including Florida E-Filing Portal and JAWS) daily to download pleadings, track and calendar associated deadlines, and organize files in NetDocuments and Clio.
- Draft basic legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Answer and manage incoming phone calls professionally to serve as a primary contact for client and caller interactions.
- Provide collaborative administrative support to attorneys, paralegals, and clients as needed to ensure smooth daily workflow.
