The manufacturing maintenance technician will carry out regularly scheduled inspections on all equipment to determine their level of operation including productivity, degree of wear and tear, and those not operating at peak performance. When detected they will identify a resolution and seek approval from the supervisor or manager to implement the corrective action to assure production doesn’t suffer.  

salary: $54,080 - $58,572 per year

Responsibilities

Carefully read manuals of equipment and interpret them to understand how to operate and maintain them properly 

Inspect newly acquired equipment upon arrival, checking each critical part to be sure that it is working and meets industry standards before it is used on the factory floor 

Log and track preventative and non-scheduled maintenance in the designated system 

Read work orders to confirm the production task is within the capacity and capability of the factory’s equipment in order to abide by the manufacturer’s guidelines 

Identify areas and make provision for alternate equipment to handle big production tasks to prevent equipment from reaching a point of no use 

Following corporate, state, local, and other guidelines when it comes to safety. 

Continuously auditing production equipment for mechanical hazards and risks that could cause harm to any operators or workers 

Ability to debug logic circuits for numeric controllers associated with all manufacturing equipment 



The essential functions of this role include:

wearing steel toe shoes

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 8 hours at one time

working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
