Expertise in Continuous Improvement is highly desired.

salary: $52,000 - $54,000 per year

Responsibilities

The Shipping Supervisor leads the day-to-day activities of the shipping team by supervising scheduling and assining warehouse staff. Maintain knowledge of the staff, by daily communications with each co worker to ensure procedures are being followed in compliance with safety and occupational guidelines regarding shipping and receiving of inventory. Ensure that all outbound trailes are accurate and efficiently loaded. coordinate off load sheet with the available of trailers and maintain accurate record keeping, to endure picking accuracy.  Supervise safety by maintaining compliance with safety guidelines. 

Train/cross train warehouse personnel in job related duties, OSHA and other safety regulations and security of assets. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include safety, interviewing, hiring and training employees.
