Responsibilities
- Plans and schedules production workflow for each production department according to previously established production sequences and customer lead times.
- Determine customer orders are received and the proper sequence to produce the orders based on customer order lead times and production availability.
- Creates necessary work orders for upcoming production needs
- Communicates directly with Supply Chain Manager and Warehouse Manager to ensure all customer ordered finished goods are ready to ship
- Using computer systems (including hardware and software) to program, set up functions, enter data, and process information for the Production Planning Department.
- Understand and disseminate Quality Assurance Food Safety Standards applicable to Production Planning
- Follows all applicable HACCP/SQF/USDA/FDA/GMP policies
