Responsibilities
Takes physical counts of predetermined parts and reconciles inventory records. Receipt, identification, storage and issuance of materials in the raw stock storage and stores area, in accordance with departmental processes. WORK PERFORMED 1. Responsible for the proper functioning of the raw stock storage area. 2. Maintain and segregate bar stock and castings in storage area by size, diameter, material, type, part number, etc. 3. Release production routers when needed. 4. Issue materials and supplies according to proper requisition documentation. (Blue prints, ATP, op sketches etc.) Verify that all documents issued are updated to the latest revision. 5. Deliver material to user department as needed. 6. Interface immediately with purchasing when shortages are identified. 7. Maintain stock records in accordance with established control systems as to receipt, issuance, returns, etc. 8. Physically counts parts in inventory
