Responsibilities
•Assembles components such as lid locks, wax motors, ball bearing wheels, switches, and motors with automated high-speed machinery and/or manual/semi-manual production equipment in the production area by performing the following duties
•Set-up, adjust, and operate automated assembly equipment
•Disassemble non-conforming parts with machines and/or hand tools to rebuild or recycle
•Log and track all non-conforming parts and scrapped material
•Replenish raw material to the automation/ assembly equipment to maintain production
•Maintain a 2-bin Kanban Inventory system to ensure no part shortages occur
•Diagnose operating troubles or malfunctions and may use basic hand tools to make minor adjustments and repairs
•Clearly communicate with team leaders, maintenance team, and co-workers on all shifts to share information on equipment status / needs throughout the day
•Assemble product using manual and/or semi-manual processes
