Randstad is currently recruiting for Engineering Technicians for a position located in Jacksonville, Florida.   This role would provide technical and process support for the production line, working in several cells and areas.  **This role is eligible for a $3,000 or more sign-on/relocation bonus for qualified/eligible candidates.**   Must be able to work rotating 12-hour shifts, 6pm to 6am or 6am to 6pm, including weekends, on a regular basis required. Will be performing a variety of Engineering activities focused on process improvement, and supporting R&D.  Experience working in a medical device manufacturing facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and process support for the production line. Work in several cells (machine reliability, standardization, safety, etc.)

• Maintain current knowledge and adhere to provisions of FDA, OSHA, GMP, MPs, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, equipment specifications and process specifications

• Improve process capability by continuous improvement of equipment, materials, and methods.


Qualifications

•  A minimum of two (2) years of relevant technical/vocational or industry experience required

• Working knowledge and troubleshooting skills in the following areas: PLC systems, robotic/servo systems, safety devices, equipment installation, debug and qualification, control circuitry development, equipment prototyping, production start-up, equipment process development is preferred

• Experience in a high-volume production line environment is preferred

• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts, 6pm to 6am or 6am to 6pm, including weekends, on a regular basis required
