Responsibilities
- Manage, schedule, and notify staff of incoming shipments
- Manage inventory receiving, put away, picking and shipping.
- Perform warehouse duties as needed including receiving, put away, picking and shipping.
- Manage material warehousing and delivery to production
- Oversee Pick & Pack operations and preparation for production and for shipments
- Coordinate the shipment loading arrangements & outbound transport activities.
- Maintain schedule and arrange for pick up with freight forwarders and parcel carriers for inbound, outbound and drop-shipments.
- Manage & oversee relationships with forwarders and carriers
- Constantly innovate and drive cost reduction, increase efficiency, and improve on-time delivery performance
- Provide quality support and initiative to further overall goals and objectives. Actively pursue continuous improvement of shipping team
- Manage inventory cycle counting, investigate and mitigate all variances
