Southside company is looking for an experienced Receiving and Inventory Associate for a busy warehouse.  The Receiving/ Inventory Associate is overall responsible for the company inventory and is responsible for ensuring all goods received are accurately recorded and signed. The right candidate will have at least 2 years of Receiving and Inventory experience, including experience using shipping/Inventory Management software and forklift experience.  Must also be able to lift 75 lbs consistantly in a hot warehouse.   A background check and drug screen will be required before starting this position.  



salary: $17 - $22 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM
education: High` School

Responsibilities

This position is responsible to check in goods and materials as they are delivered by vendors and/or any other delivery service, verify items and quantities match packing list, report and discrepancies to purchasing or management, unload containers and truck shipments and stage parts sampling for inspection and assist quality control as necessary.



The essential functions of this role include:

wearing steel toe shoes

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 75lbs

standing for 8 hours at one time
