Responsibilities
- Safely operate a forklift to move raw materials or finished products to the warehouse or onto trucks for distribution to customers
- Ensure quality product is sent to customer
- Accurately executes loading/unloading from pick ticket
- Conduct hourly quality checks and inspect full goods and pallets or other raw materials as needed
- Performs routine and preventive maintenance
- Perform equipment changeovers
- Able to trouble shoot mechanical issues and some computer issues
- Inspects full goods as produced and pallets or other raw materials as unloaded.
- Works well with others in team environment..
- Interact with production and warehouse team members, quality control and maintenance to maximize output and efficiency
- Use of problem solving and continuous improvement tools and methodologies
