We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Control  Bench Technician with at least 1 year of prior experience. Background in biology, chemistry or QA/QC food manufacturing experience a plus. Must be willing to obtain a Nevada food handlers card and willing to submit to a background check. 



salary: $19 - $19 per hour
shift: Second
work hours: 1:30 PM - 11 PM
education: High` School

Responsibilities

• Responsible for compliance to Food Safety, maintain SQF certification through compliance to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and maintaining good housekeeping, being inspection-ready at all times
• Test each batch for acid, salt, viscosity and color; making sure that they are in specification
• Give correction to any batches that are out of specification
• Test filler before each line start up 
• Test finished product for acid, salt, viscosity, and color every hour
• Inspect labels, codes, and weights on finished products to make sure that they meet quality standard
• Put products on hold that do not meet specifications
• Collect samples for shelf-life and micro-plating
• Calibrate acid and salt titrators daily
• Other duties as assigned

wearing steel toe shoes

standing for 10 hours at one time

working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
