2nd shift shipping/receiving window clerk.

Do you have shipping experience and a sense of urgency with issue resolution? We are looking for Shipping and Receiving Clerks to gather requirements, plan, package, ship, communicate, and inspect all shipments for a distribution company in Stockton, CA. This role requires outside-the-box thinking and problem-solving. It also requires great verbal and written communication skills for both internal and external personnel. Logistics never sleeps and may require work on evenings and/or weekends, but we have availablity on both the 1st and 2nd shifts This is a Monday through Friday but working most Saturdays.. We have a need for the following shifts: 7am-5:30pm 12:30pm-11pm 2:30pm - 1:00am Please apply today for immediate consideration as these positions will move fast!

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Communicates with carriers/drivers, warehouse/office personnel and customers regarding shipment and receipt of product.
• Assigns truckers doors, assigns receiving numbers and prepares blind tally.
• Checks outbound / inbound orders for accuracy and proper signatures, i.e., picked by and checked by truck driver; for over, short and damage reports for receipts.
• Directs and controls driver traffic and access to warehouse, restrooms, etc.
• Checks documents for proper and complete information; signs freight bills. Checks driver identification and notes driver’s license number on bill of lading
• Maintains log for accurate records of all product movement for inbound, outbound, staged orders and yard management.
• Check and correspond to emails, incoming/outgoing calls and check voicemails.

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

standing for 8 hours at one time

working weekends
