Have you ever tried to make pancakes or brownies from scratch and decided that the boxed mix was the way to go?  Do you have experience in the food and beverage industry and an eye for detail?  A local production facility in Kent is looking for ambitious workers to join their packaging and production team.  You'll be the person responsible for ensuring that product is boxed properly and ready to ship to stores throughout the world.  We can't say their name, but we guarantee you've seen their products in stores throughout Seattle. This team trains on the swing shift then moves to 12 hour schedules(2/3/2 schedule with built in overtime and every other weekend guaranteed off!).  Our client wants people who are ambitious and driven to join a team with an amazing retention rate(the average time in company is 20+ years!!) and a great track record of excellence.

salary: $21.74 - $23.24 per hour
shift: Second
work hours: 2 PM - 10:30 PM

Responsibilities

Pack food products into cases
• Ensure product bags travel through packaging equipment
• Operate packaging machinery safely
• Manually stack product boxes and bags on pallets or conveyors
• Use computer to access and print documentation
• Accurately input data into production software
• Prepare food packaging for product insert and shipping
• Operate material handling equipment to move and palletize products and packaging materials
• Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices at all times
• Consistently follow safety, quality and other company guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures
• Perform sanitation tasks both on equipment and general housekeeping to established time and quality standards
• Work overtime as needed
• Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time
