Responsibilities
- Reads and understands product drawings to determine product specifications and tooling needed for extruded tubing.
- Reviews dimensions and measurements on drawings or routers before starting/setting up for the extrusion process.
- Sets up extruder and relevant tooling. Prepares all raw compounds needed to start any extrusion run/batch.
- Verifies dimensional conformance of tubing to specifications.
- Operates all extrusion tooling, dies, mandrels, magnehelic air gauges, vacuum boxes/pullers, in-line measurement to ensure tubing meets specifications.
