Responsibilities
Manufacturing Team Leader is responsible for general direction, leadership, and team performance in the Mixing production area. First-line team leader position for a manufacturing area based on production output and process requirements. Has responsibility for overseeing hourly production team.
· Troubleshoots various process and/or operational activities.
· Has input in developing team resource requirements (e.g. work-load balancing, training, and
development, equipment maintenance) and establishing internal procedures.
- Team building skills producing results meeting organizational objectives. Promotes High
Performing Team Environment & challenging goals.
· Reduces production cost by decreasing rework and scrap
- Maintains time and attendance for payroll purposes on direct reports.
· Improves safety culture
