Responsibilities
Plant laborer consist of shoving piles of dried concrete crumbs and aggregate from around areas of the plant. They also serve as “cullers” this is when they watch the line of pavers come down the line and they pull defective pavers and replace them with good ones. They’ll assist us with Dockpad production, we take turns placing wire into a mold, we take shifts on this. Often as time goes on the laborer learns about the equipment because they’ll assist the machine operators at times. Many of my full time Machine operators started out as plant laborers.
