Responsibilities
Precision assembly of electronic circuit boards and mechanical subassemblies
Assemble and test electronic circuit boards. Must be comfortable soldering and
debugging small, surface mount components under microscope by hand.
Operating a reflow oven for low volume assembly of electronic circuit boards.
Building wire harnesses with solder and/or crimp connections
Mechanical assembly. Must be familiar with hand tools and adhesives
Packing boxes for safe shipment of scientific instruments
Kitting parts for both internal and outsourced builds
Inventory Control – responsible for maintaining inventory levels for a low volume high
mix set of instrument components.
Testing and documenting assembly builds
