Responsibilities
Machine operator setting up/changing over machine to run rolls of printed flexo material to slit down to final size; inspect for quality defects;and prepare for shipment. Final set of eyes on printed product before it ships out. Filling out paperwork and accurate data entry to show finished good quantities and any waste. Must have an eye for detail in order to accurately see color, print, image and pick out quality defects. Quality is a major part of this job. We can train the machine set up/changeover operation to someone who doesn’t have a lot of mechanical background.
We have a total of 4 different rewind machines. Individual will begin training on one with the goal of being able to advance and cross train on others as their skill set progresses. Rewind tracker operators have the ability to promote/advance internally into other rolls such as Flexo Printing Press Operator.
