We are looking for a skilled person wanting to growth within a company. You’ll ensure the interminable and efficient running of production. A great operator is reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. On-the-job training is a good way to discover how to do the job better, so you should have willingness to learn and improve. The goal will be to ensure that production procedures will be carried on smoothly to maximize efficiency and profits. You will be responsible for loading parts, performing checks related to production, safety, and quality. You will be required to use basic math, including whole numbers common fractions and decimals. The position does require walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, and use of hands.

Responsibilities

• Set up drop hammers, trim press and resistance heaters. Use the tooking and raw material from staging area: remove completed tooling to Tool & Die
• Placing dies in hammet, using forklift and key driver. Bring proper steel from staging are and place on hammer table. 
• Set up per blueprint, inserts forge dies, align, shim,and lock in place. 
• Determine drop adjustment for stroke on basis of size of forgings, or Die Forger blow energy sheet. 
• Set resistance heater by changing hopper size, holding dies, finger alignment and heat cycle. Set indiction heater by changing hopper size, energy settings, and adjusment to pusher, to insure proper heating of material. 
• Set up trim press bu selecting proper die and inseting in press, alogn, shim if required and properly secure in place, adjsut stroke as required. Place bars in hoppers on heaters and start cycle, bring to proper forging temperature, and remove with tongs and place in die stations to perform breakdown, semi-finish, and finish operation.

standing for 10 hours at one time
