Randstad Staffing has partnered with a CNC Manufacturing company located in New Hope, MN that is seeking to hire a CNC Mill/Lathe Machinist. You must have 2 years of CNC Milling/Lathe experience. salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year
shift: Second
work hours: 1 PM - 9 AM
education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

•Set up and operate all machines related to work area; change fixtures and tooling for new and existing products

•Understand and operate all inspection equipment

•Determine sequence of operations to make CNC programs

•Prepare machine for production by setting up tooling and work holding fixtures. Prepare all set ups, and upload and download programs through DNC system

•Maintains specifications by observing operations, detecting malfunctions, inspecting parts, and adjusting controls while maintaining tight tolerance objectives

•Ability to operate CMM and all hand inspection equipment

•Operate using SPC where needed

•Ensures operation of the equipment by following all Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) instructions

•Completes production and quality logs

•Maintain fluid levels on machines, including coolant, spindle, and hydraulic fluids



The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

wearing steel toe shoes

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 8 hours at one time
