Responsibilities
Operate mill turn machine(s) in a safe manner.
Maintain assigned machine(s) in a good working condition and report any machine malfunction to the
maintenance manager.
Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
Review blueprints, specifications, tolerances, and estimate hours of assigned operation.
Read and understand shop floor paperwork.
Utilize software to record time worked on jobs to ensure accurate job cost reporting.
Produce quality product and understand what qualifies as a quality product.
Complete daily machine maintenance.
Participate in Tier 1 meetings with supervisor.
Able to measure accurately with calipers, micrometers, bore gages, depth micrometers, telescoping gages, and
measuring threads over wires.
Can stand for up to 12 hours.
Operator should be self‐sufficient after training is complete.
