Randstad is seeking Lab Technicians for our client in the semiconductor industry. As a lab technician, you are responsibile for receiveing, testing, analyzing, recording and reporting test results. The ideal candidate for this role will have good hand-eye coordination, great attention to detail, good organizational skills, understanding of electronic and computerized equipment, and able to follow instructions and procedures. Available Schedules

• Weekend shift: Friday - Monday 2PM-12PM
• Rotating Schedule: 2PM-2AM Tuesday-Thursday one week, 2PM-2AM Monday-Thursday another week

salary: $20 - $25 per hour

work hours: 2 PM - 12 AM
education: Bachelor

Responsibilities

• Receiving, labeling and safely storing samples to be tested
• Determining and performing tests needed for the analysis and report
• Recording tests and analyses and then reporting the results
• Discussing and answering any questions regarding the results
• Organizing and storing samples in accordance with all safety and other requirements to ensure the safety of personnel and integrity of the sample
• Cleaning and maintaining lab equipment, including recalibration of equipment
• Maintaining equipment records and daily work logs
• Staying current on technical and scientific advances in their field

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

wearing steel toe shoes

standing for 10 hours at one time

working weekends

Skills

Laboratory/Sciences (3 years of experience is preferred)

Engineering (2 years of experience is preferred)

Blueprint Reading

Inspection

Attention to detail (4 years of experience is preferred)

Communication (4 years of experience is preferred)
