Responsibilities

Responsiblties:

• Troubleshooting and set up of injection molded plastic products.
• Troubleshoot, repair and adjust equipment as needed.
• Ensuring the safe and efficient operation and set-up of complex injection molding equipment
• Start up and troubleshooting machines
• Setting and adjusting molds prior to production
• Processing test runs and preparing records for other teams to review
• Develop certified processes
• Implement scientific molding processes on existing molds
• Provide training to other employees in scientific molding principles
• Basic machine and mold PM's
• Maintaining a clean work environment at all times
• Following all aspects of maintenance safety protocol
• Contributing to a highly productive, efficient and team-oriented work environment

Requirements:

• Expect Incumbent to be Sonoco mission driven
• Able to troubleshoot an injection molding process to root cause; 5 + years experience
• RJG/scientific molding background
