Responsibilities
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure uptime of equipment through preventive maintenance and repairs.
- Perform preventive maintenance activities per the established schedule and record in logbook.
- Adjust tasks as required to address unexpected repairs.
- May be required to pick up piece parts from stores and vendors.
- Select and use proper tools for the task assigned.
- Construct metal racks & other tools per specifications
- Installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment
- Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation
- Keep the facility clean and safe
- Experience with blueprint reading and using measuring equipment (e.g., tape measure, micrometer) preferred.
