Responsibilities
- Must be able to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance functions for buildings, facilities, fixtures, equipment, and property. This includes floors, bathtubs, sinks, cabinets, walls, roofs, stairways, and carpets; Repair and replace windows, screens, doors, and hinges; Repair and adjust locks on doors, cabinets, closets.
- Inspect various ventilation units; Install, maintain and service equipment such as ranges, refrigerators, heating systems, air conditioners, and water heaters; Move or arrange for moving of furniture and equipment.
- Operate equipment and machines including saws, drill presses and various hand and power tools to perform repair and maintenance work.
- Process work orders; Document tenant charges. Respond to after-hours emergencies on a timely basis.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety practices and procedures; and federal, state and local codes, regulations and requirements.
