Responsibilities

Primary purpose of Material Handlers in the warehouse will be to inspect, assemble, and pack materials.  Job duties include: Inspect rugs (5 to 50 pounds); Roll rugs to get ready for shipment; Use foot pedal machine to assist with rolling and packing. Label and wrap rug then pack as directed.  Will also help in packing area to assemble boxes for shipping.  May also use manual pallet jack to move filled boxes to staging area as directed by supervisor.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 12 hours at one time
• working weekends
