Responsibilities
o Reviews merchandise prior to packaging to ensure product is properly labeled.
o Loads and secures product onto trucks with straps and load bars ensuring protection of products to prevent freight damage.
o Utilizes scan functions to perform shipping functions in conjunction with computer. o Uses forklift to move merchandise safety and always a company forklift rules.
o Communicate with the Less Than Truckload (LTL) Drivers regarding paperwork and pro numbers. o Ensures shipping inspections are being completed and labeled appropriately.
o Troubleshoots and communicates problems with product, components, tools and overall quality of product being loaded.
o Learns and maintains moderate product knowledge (I.e. learn product by model number, how different products should be packaged and secured, etc.
