Our client in Washington, GA is looking for a Reliability/Maintenance Supervisor to join their growing team! This is a Monday-Friday position with on-call weekend hours as necessary.  Ideally this person has experience working with industrial electronic equipment; motors, drives, controls, starters, lights, power, communication, and PLC's.   If you live within commutable distance from Washington, this could be a great opportunity for you!

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance personnel in the execution of the maintenance and repair of plant equipment.
• Participate in daily scheduling/check-in meetings.
• Coordinate maintenance activities for schedule maintenance breakers.
• Conduct daily job walk-downs to ensure safe, high quality, and efficient maintenance and repairs are being performed by craftspeople, including jobsite clean-up.
• Ensure maintenance job status entries, and job feedback to Operations is completed on a daily basis
• Conduct daily toolbox and job status/feedback meetings with maintenance personnel.
• Process invoices for services.
• Must have knowledge of computers, PLCs, etc.
• Support the department’s adherence to established Lean Manufacturing objectives.
• Provide technical assistance to support all site maintenance activities.
• Facilitate administrative issues, including timekeeping, overtime, training, progression plan, performance appraisals, and disciplinary actions.
• Provide input for shop training and development needs.
• Facilitate shop 5S activities and improvement initiatives.
• Submit drawings to Engineering for any revisions/updates.
• Provide technical assistance to support all site maintenance activities.
• Order/receive/track necessary material (internal/external) to support maintenance activities.
• Must have the ability to climb stairs, sit or stand for extended periods, squat, kneel, walk for extended distances, and be able to lift and/or carry 50 pounds.
• Active support of all EH&S policies and procedures.

The essential functions of this role include:
